[11th Edition - MYC] Import Ideas from CSVs to Publishing

Good afternoon everyone!

Welcome back to the journey of building the future of higher ed social media intelligence.

Thank you for following along. If you're new here, the purpose of this newsletter is to keep y'all informed on what's working & new, and the occasional ask for feedback to help shape the product further.

The Super Bowl was last Sunday, and I am absolutely devastated. I did not get free Chipotle. I texted easily within 15 seconds — I just can't believe 100,000 people beat me. I blame technical issues; it took 11 minutes to tell me I didn't win. If anyone on this list got it, congrats. I will cry to myself.

TL;DR (Too Long, Didn’t Read)

  • List View & Kanban MUCH cleaner in Ideas

  • Import ideas from Google Sheets / Excel / Airtable

  • Miscellaneous quality of life improvements

WHAT’S NEW

Cleaning Up Ideas

The List & Kanban view for your content ideas just got a facelift! A much cleaner feel for storing and organizing your ideas. Plus, plenty of new improvements — like attaching media, new variables, and more. Through it all, everything still connects to scheduling seamlessly, along with a brand-new "Post Natively" option where you can choose how you want to post for each platform.

Much cleaner UI/UX.

Importing Ideas

Whether you're looking to transition from a spreadsheet or just want to stay organized outside of Reach (we don't take offense), there's now an "Import Ideas" option. Upload your CSV, match your columns to variables within Reach, and easily schedule out your content. And if your media is hosted at a URL, importing will even attempt to download it directly!

Minor Improvements

We had a handful of smaller tasks completed — worth noting, but not big enough for GIFs, haha.

  • Created subcollections for your inspirations, allowing for better organization.

  • Bug fixes to trending sounds & hashtags — previously was incorrectly removing old uses of sounds and not including original sounds.

CHALLENGES / ASKS / WHAT’S NEXT

Publishing is Very Close

We very close to successfully connecting account & posting to social media (focusing on Meta to start). Stay tuned!
