MeetYourClass Reach

Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MeetYourClass Reach (“Reach” or the “Service”), operated by MeetYourClass, Inc. (“MeetYourClass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Reach is a content management and content research platform built for higher education institutions and their service providers, accessible at https://reach.meetyourclass.com.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Reach on behalf of an organization (such as a university or agency), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to both you individually and the organization.

These Terms apply solely to Reach and do not govern the separate MeetYourClass student-facing platform, MeetYourClass Engage, or MeetYourClass Enroll.

1. Eligibility

Reach is a business-to-business product intended for use by professionals at higher education institutions and related organizations (including agencies that service higher education clients). You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Accounts

2.1 Registration

To use Reach, you must create an account by providing your first name, last name, email address, job title, university or organization name, and department or function. Accounts may be created through self-serve sign-up or via organizational invitation. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.

2.2 Account Types and Seat Types

Reach offers individual accounts and team/organization accounts. Individual accounts may be upgraded to team accounts, allowing multiple users within an organization to collaborate under a shared workspace. Within team accounts, the following seat types are available:

  • Admin seats: Full access to all features, including the ability to manage users, permissions, billing, and organizational settings.
  • Full-access seats: Access to all content management, publishing, scheduling, and research features.
  • Content-only seats: Access to content creation and collaboration features (e.g., drafting captions, uploading media, participating in workflows) but without the ability to publish or schedule posts to connected social media accounts. This seat type is designed for contributors such as student interns or junior team members.

Organization administrators are responsible for assigning seat types and managing permissions within their workspace.

2.3 Agency Accounts

Agencies that service multiple higher education clients may use Reach to manage content across multiple client institutions from a single organizational account. Client data is segregated across workspaces; agency users will not have cross-access to data belonging to other clients, and no client data will be shared or visible across client boundaries.

2.4 Single Sign-On (SSO)

We may offer SAML-based single sign-on (SSO) integration for enterprise accounts. If your organization uses SSO, your access may be managed by your organization’s identity provider, and your organization’s policies may apply in addition to these Terms.

2.5 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at team@meetyourclassinc.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Free Trial, Subscription, and Billing

3.1 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 30-day free trial of Reach. During the trial period, you will have access to the Service’s features as described at the time of sign-up. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.

3.2 Subscription Plans

Reach offers paid subscription plans on both monthly and annual billing cycles. Pricing is per-seat and varies by feature tier and seat type. Enterprise plans with flat-rate pricing (not increasing with additional seats) are available by contacting our sales team. Plan details and current pricing are available on our website.

3.3 Payment and Auto-Renewal

Self-serve customers: All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your billing cycle. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Enterprise customers: Payment is made via direct invoicing on terms specified in the applicable order form or statement of work.

All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.

3.4 Cancellation and No Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (self-serve) or by contacting us (enterprise). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds or credits will be issued for unused portions of a billing period, partial months, or unused seats, except as required by applicable law.

Upon cancellation, your workflow data (ideas, drafts, task/kanban data, approval comments, brand voice configurations) and social media account credentials (OAuth tokens) will be deleted. Records of content published through Reach will be retained for continuity purposes.

3.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4. Enterprise Agreements

Enterprise customers may enter into a separate Master Service Agreement (MSA), Order Form, Statement of Work (SOW), and/or Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with MeetYourClass. In the event of a conflict between an executed enterprise agreement and these Terms, the enterprise agreement shall control. The order of precedence for enterprise customers is: (1) signed MSA / Order Form / SOW; (2) DPA; (3) these Terms of Service; (4) the Reach Privacy Policy.

5. Permitted Use and Restrictions

5.1 License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Reach for your internal business purposes related to higher education content management, publishing, and research.

5.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users’ accounts, or our systems
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service by automated means outside of the Service’s intended features
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users’ access
  • Publish content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or that infringes any third party’s intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Use Reach or any data obtained through the Service to identify, profile, or target individuals in unlawful or discriminatory ways

5.3 Enforcement

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to cure before termination, except in cases of egregious or repeated violations.

6. Social Media Account Connections

Reach enables you to connect third-party social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Threads) to manage, schedule, and publish content. You may connect any, all, or none of these platforms. By connecting an account, you:

  • Authorize Reach to access and use the connected account via the platform’s official API with read and write permissions
  • Represent that you have the authority to connect and manage the social media account on behalf of your organization
  • Acknowledge that social media platforms may impose their own terms and usage limits, and that Reach is not responsible for actions taken by those platforms (such as rate limiting, content removal, or account suspension)
  • Understand that we store encrypted OAuth tokens to maintain your connection, and that these tokens are deleted upon account cancellation

You are solely responsible for the content you publish through Reach and for ensuring it complies with the applicable social media platform’s terms of service and community guidelines.

7. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain all ownership rights in the content you create, upload, or publish through Reach (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide and improve the Service. This license terminates when you delete Your Content or cancel your account, except for: (a) published content records retained per Section 3.4; and (b) aggregated or de-identified data derived from Your Content as described in Section 7.3.

7.2 Publicly Available Data

The content research features of Reach index and display publicly available social media content from higher education accounts. This publicly available data remains the intellectual property of its original creators. Reach provides it for informational and research purposes and does not claim ownership of third-party public content.

7.3 Use of Data for Product Improvement

We may use aggregated or de-identified data derived from your use of the Service—including content performance patterns, engagement trends, and feature usage—to improve the Service, develop new features, and enhance AI models that power Reach’s functionality (such as the Brand Voice tool and content labeling features). We will not use your identifiable content drafts or uploaded media to train third-party AI models without your consent.

7.4 Our Intellectual Property

Reach, including its software, design, branding, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is and remains the property of MeetYourClass, Inc. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.

8. AI-Powered Features

Reach includes artificial intelligence features, including but not limited to caption generation, alt text generation, brand voice customization, and automated content labeling. These features are powered by third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI).

IMPORTANT: AI-generated outputs are provided “as is” for informational and assistive purposes only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, appropriate, or free from error. AI-generated labels, captions, alt text, and other outputs may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon without human review. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before use or publication. We disclaim all liability arising from reliance on AI-generated outputs.

When you use AI features, relevant content (such as draft text, images, captions, or brand voice configurations) may be transmitted to our AI provider for processing. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

9. Content Research and Publicly Indexed Data

Reach’s content research tools provide access to an index of publicly available social media data from higher education institution accounts. This data is collected from public sources using automated tools (including Apify) and official platform APIs, and is presented for competitive research, benchmarking, and content strategy purposes. The research features surface only publicly available content.

You agree to use the content research features responsibly and in compliance with applicable law. You may not:

  • Use indexed data to identify, profile, harass, stalk, or target individuals in any unlawful or discriminatory manner
  • Republish indexed data in bulk or create derivative databases for resale or redistribution
  • Use indexed data to train machine learning models, build competing products or databases, or for any purpose that competes with Reach
  • Use the data in any way that violates the intellectual property rights of the original content creators
  • Rely on the completeness or accuracy of research data for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes

We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep research data current but do not guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. Indexed content is not automatically de-indexed or refreshed.

10. Content Complaints and Takedown Requests

If you are a content owner or authorized representative and believe that publicly available content indexed by Reach has been collected or displayed in error, or if you wish to request correction or removal, please contact us at team@meetyourclassinc.com. We will review all requests in good faith and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Third-Party Services

Reach integrates with third-party services including social media platforms (Meta/Instagram/Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Threads), payment processing (Stripe), AI services (OpenAI), data collection (Apify), email delivery (Amazon SES), and analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog). Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

12. Data and Privacy

Our collection, use, and protection of your information is governed by the MeetYourClass Reach Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in the Privacy Policy. For enterprise clients, data processing agreements (DPAs) are available upon request.

13. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain the availability of Reach but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, deploy updates, or experience outages beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

Support is available via email and directly within the platform. Enterprise clients may have access to dedicated support as specified in their service agreement.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, that AI-generated outputs will be accurate or suitable for any purpose, that research data will be complete or current, or that social media platform integrations will function without interruption.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEETYOURCLASS, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MeetYourClass, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content or content published through Reach; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any third party’s rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (e) your misuse of content research data.

17. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by cancelling your account. We may terminate or suspend your access with notice if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your license to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 19) will survive.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

19. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, and any applicable enterprise agreement (MSA, Order Form, SOW, or DPA), constitute the entire agreement between you and MeetYourClass, Inc. regarding the Service.
  • Enterprise Override: In the event of a conflict between a signed enterprise agreement and these Terms, the enterprise agreement shall control.
  • Amendments: We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on our website. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force Majeure: We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic, or internet or infrastructure failures.
